Tracy will be remembered most for her casual, fun-loving ways and her big heart, especially her desire to stand up for the underdogs and help those who needed kindness the most. She had a way of making people feel seen, welcomed, and understood. At the same time, Tracy was known for being direct and to the point—she didn’t sugarcoat much—and those who knew her appreciated her honesty and authenticity.
She loved spending time with her friends and found great joy in laughter, simple moments, and meaningful connections. One of the most treasured friendships in her life was with her best friend of over 45 years, Janice Manning. Their bond was one built on love, loyalty, and countless memories that will live on forever. Tracy’s infectious laugh was something those closest to her will never forget—it had a way of filling a room and lifting spirits.
Tracy was the beloved daughter of Paul and Virginia Sepeck and the youngest of eight children. She spent most of her life in Rockland before later making her home in Mashpee.
She found joy in the kitchen and was known for her love of cooking and baking, often bringing people together through the meals and treats she shared. Over the years, Tracy held numerous jobs, many of them in the kitchen, where she took pride in her work and found comfort in doing what she loved. She also worked at Laura's Home Cookin, where she continued to share her passion for food with others. She was also a proud member of IBEW Local 103.
Tracy also enjoyed fishing and loved to play golf, appreciating both the quiet moments and the camaraderie those activities brought. She had a special place in her heart for her beloved dog, Billie, and spent many happy hours walking and caring for her, especially in the years leading up to her passing.
Tracy was not one to give up on challenges, and she demonstrated that strength and determination until her very last breath—a true reflection of the resilience that defined her life.
She is lovingly remembered by her siblings: Virginia Hart; Paul and Karen Sepeck; Donna and Bob Sammonds; and Tommy Sepeck, along with her sister-in-law Chickie Sepeck. She is also reunited in peace with her siblings Billy Sepeck, Barbara Dooley, and Sister Mary Sepeck, who preceded her in death.
She is survived by many loving nieces and nephews who will cherish her memory, along with a large circle of family, lifelong friends, and loved ones whose lives were made brighter by her presence.
Visiting hours will be held at the Sullivan Funeral Homes 45 East Water Street, Rockland, on Sunday, May 17th, from 1-4 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Church, 403 Union Street, Rockland, on Monday, May 18th at 9 AM. Followed by a celebration of life at Rockland Golf Course, 276 Plain Street, Rockland.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to McCarthy Care Center - Hospice House, PO Box 370, Hyannis, MA 02601, in Tracy’s memory.
