He was born in Wilson, North Carolina to William and Lillie Parker. He retired from the US Air Force after thirty years. Survivors include his wife of sixty-three years Nora D. Parker; children, Michael R. Parker, Patrick Parker (Deceased), Timothy Parker (Kathie) and Brenda D. Schutz (Jimmy); eleven grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 27, 2014, 10 am at Life Event Center Florida Memorial, 5950 S US Highway 1, Rockledge, FL. 32955
