The daughter of Fred and Marie Schleber, Ann was born on April 24, 1942 in Rochester, NY. She was the mother to Michael and Kevin Corcoran and Coreen Naugle and was resident of Florida for more than fifty years. She raised her family in Indialantic and lovingly created a home that was always full of delicious home cooked meals for family and friends. After her youngest, Coreen graduated from high school, Ann moved to Winter Park and earned her bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management from the University of Central Florida. Her friendly and welcoming personality made her a perfect fit for her years as a reservation’s agent for luxury hotels. She enjoyed the arts, gardening, exercise, traveling and cooking. She was fiercely loyal and devoted to her children, working tirelessly to help them in any way she was able. She had a knack of making a home a showplace, while also creating a warm space in which she made anyone feel welcomed with her kind spirit and flawless hospitality. While in Winter Park she befriended many people during her daily activities of walking her beloved dogs, running errands or working in the yard at the rental properties she managed. She truly never met a stranger. Those that knew Ann before Alzheimer’s dimmed her beautiful light will remember her as generous, witty and outgoing.
She is survived by her siblings Jean, Mary and Fred, Jr; her three children Michael Corcoran, Jr of Indialantic; Coreen Naugle and her husband Jim of Winter Park; Kevin Corcoran and his wife Sara of Brentwood, TN; and her six grandchildren, Dorian Holt, Cary, Catherine, John, Colleen and Olivia Corcoran.
