Anne R. King, 85, of Rockledge, went to be with her Lord and Savior Wednesday, March 10, 2010. She was born in Birmingham, AL on July 29, 1924. She married Wesley H. King in 1948 and moved to Rockledge in 1954. Before marrying and choosing to raise a family, she worked as an executive secretary for Frigidaire. Anne is survived by her three children, Wesley King of Rockledge, Gail Shealey of Rockledge, and Darron King of Merritt Island, as well as a large and loving family which includes her ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was a beautiful woman inside and out, an amazing wife, inspirational mother, and a true friend to many. She is remembered for her genuine love for the Lord, quick humor, generous giving spirit, amazing insight, patience, accepting loving manner, and forgiving nature. A celebration of her life will be held Saturday, March 13th at Rockledge Church of Christ, with visitation at 10 a.m. and services at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be given to Mt. Dora Christian Home and Bible School or Wuesthoff Hospice.
