

Annette was born in Fall River, MA where she met her husband, Thomas Gary Riley. They met at a church dance and married one year later. Thomas joined the Air Force and over the next 20 years they traveled the world and enjoyed stays in Spain, Japan, California, Maine, Michigan, New Mexico and lastly retired in Merritt Island, Florida. Along their journey they had 4 wonderful children; Douglas, David, Michelle and Deanna. Annette and Thomas have known each other for 62 years, have been married for 59 years and have had many adventures together. During their retirement years they travelled across the US in an RV, they took many cruises, they enjoyed boating and fishing, hiking, cooking, shopping, watching movies and their favorite tv shows. They were not only husband and wife but best friends. Over the span of Annette’s life, she attended college to learn psychology, she was very active and enjoyed skiing, tennis, racquetball, and swimming. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family and her 4 children were her top priority. When the children were old enough, she began a career as a Real Estate Agent and was employed at NASA where she worked for 20 years as a Program Analyst. Annette was also very close to her sisters, Jaqueline and Madeleine. She considered them not only sisters, but good friends. They were very close sisters who shared their life ups and downs and were always there for each other. They loved clamming, clam boils, swimming and their most favorite, drinking wine and having lots of fun and laughs.
Survivors include her husband, Thomas Gary Riley of Merritt Island FL; son, David Riley of Whitefish, MT; daughters, Michelle Riley of Rockledge, FL and Deanna Riley of Portsmouth, RI and a deceased son, Douglas Riley; sisters, Jacqueline Callahan of Titusville, FL, Madeleine Welch of St. Cloud, FL and Muriel Coyle of Portsmouth, RI; and 5 grandchildren, Patrick Riley of Boise, ID, Nicole Cory of Cocoa FL, Alexandria and Willow Riley of Whitefish, MT and Lawson Riley of Alford, FL and great granddaughters and great grandsons.
No calling hours are scheduled. A private funeral will be held at the convenience of the family.
