Bitha M. Anthony

Bea will be lovingly remembered by her son Wayne Anthony along with his wife Karen and her daughter Sue Leroy along with her husband Rene. She was beloved grandmother to Jeff Stevens, Christy Nail, Jill Rothell and Kimberly Thorpe. She was adored by eleven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her dear husband of 64 years J.C. Anthony.

Bea was born in Skinnerton, AL on March 17, 1927 and eventually settled in Brevard County in 1958. She was a faithful Christ follower and was a member of First Baptist Church of Merritt Island, Aurantia Baptist Church in Mims, Westside Baptist in Titusville and most recently, Northwest Baptist Church in Cocoa. She had a successful career as a secretary at the Space Center in Cape Canaveral. She was a talented artist, a lover of nature and an incredible southern cook. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend.

Memorial service to be held on Monday, March 7, at 1:00 PM at Life Even Center at Florida Memorial Gardens, 5950 South US Highway 1 in South Rockledge. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Wuesthoff Brevard Hospice and Palliative Care or Agape Pregnancy Center.
