Satellite Beach – Bob Jones passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones at Viera Hospital at the age of 61. Bob will be lovingly remembered by his wife Cathy and his son Wyatt, his brother Ken, sister-in-law Cathy, and nephews Matt and Ryan, as well as all of the extended family that he collected over his lifetime.
Bob was born in Hollywood, FL and moved to Brevard County in 1993. Bob was a veteran of the US Air Force and retired from civil service in December 2023. He was a devoted husband and father. He enjoyed spending time with friends and family, and always made people smile. He will be remembered for always being there for anyone, no questions asked. When he loved you or you were his friend, there was nothing he wouldn’t do for you. Bob always put others needs before his own. He touched so many people throughout his life.
Services for Bob are on Friday, August 2nd at The Life Event Center at Florida Memorial Gardens, 5950 U.S. Highway 1, Rockledge, FL 32955. Visitation is 10:30-11:00, followed by a celebration of life at 11:00, then full military honors at the gravesite. A reception with lunch will be at the Life Event Center at 12:30.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Lung Association would be greatly appreciated.
