Kay and my mom, Rose Sasso Capolupo, were childhood friends. As a child myself; I remember visiting your family in Weymouth and playing with Ann, Rickie and Carl. 
For the past three years my parents have lived with us in Palm Desert. Rose has Alzheimer's, but still remembers things from the past and today she mentioned Kay. For some reason; I felt so sad and cried. When I found the obituary; I understood. 
I will always picture these two strong, amazing women as laughing, mischievous teenagers. Well, as mischievous as girls could be back in the day!

I was saddened to learn of the passing of Catherine (Kay) Testa and wish to express my condolences to her family.

I first met Kay in 1972, through her daughter, Ann. She always made me feel welcome in her home, even though there would often be many years between visits.

Some of the best meals I ever had were prepared by Kay.  She was a phenomenal cook.  Her ability to multi-task while preparing those meals was always a source of great fascination (and admiration) for me.

I always found Kay to be intelligent, creative, funny, and never afraid to express her opinions.  She clearly loved and treasured her family.

I've met the parents of many friends over the years, but Kay was always one of the most unique of all of them.  I'm glad I had the opportunity to know her.
