He was born in Carlisle, PA and came to Brevard County in 1986. He was a retired proprietor in Direct Satellite Television.
Survivors include his son; Dennis C. Hamilton, step-daughter; Karrie Weaver (Brian ) Heyhurst, parents; Charles and Sondra Hamilton, brother; Michael Hamilton, sister; Brenda (William) Shirley, niece; Jamie Oden and her children; Caleb and Kenslee, nephew; Brandon (Heather) Shirley and his 2 children; Brentley and Liam and 3 step grandchildren; Brian, Kailee and Mason. He was preceded in death by his grandparents; Ray and Hazel Schaffner and George and Grace Hamilton.
Visitation will take place on Sunday, November 19, 2017 from 12-1pm with a service to follow at 1pm, at The Life Event Center at Florida Memorial, 5950 US HWY 1, Rockledge, FL 32955.
