

Donna Marie Zimmerman, age 93, passed away peacefully on February 23, 2024, surrounded by her loving family at her daughter’s home in Unionville, Tennessee. She was born in Canton, Ohio, and her life was marked by warmth, resilience, and unwavering love.
She is survived by her devoted daughter, Jacalyn Krabill, who stood by her side through thick and thin. Donna’s grandchildren—Zachary, Kristopher, and Matthew Krabill—were the joy of her heart. She also leaves behind five great-grandchildren- Kearstin, Fulton, Shepherd, Ethan and Jack, each a testament to her enduring spirit.
Donna’s journey was one of compassion and dedication toward others. She moved to Brevard County, Florida, in 1988, where she found her passion as a baker at a local elementary school. Her warm smile and delicious treats brightened the lives of countless children. During her time in Palm Bay, she attended Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church.
In her final years, Donna chose to be close to her daughter and grandchildren in Middle Tennessee. Her wisdom, kindness, and love were felt by all who knew her. She cherished family gatherings, sharing stories, and passing down cherished traditions, especially baking. Donna’s legacy will forever echo through the generations she touched.
A visitation to celebrate Donna’s life will be held at the Life Event Center at Florida Memorial Gardens on March 11, 2024, starting at 11:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 PM. She will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband, Harold “Jack” Zimmerman, who preceded her in death on October 7, 2007.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in Donna’s memory. Let us honor her legacy by spreading love, kindness, and compassion—the values she held dear throughout her remarkable life.
