Mrs. DeSanti was born on July 9, 1933 in Huntington, New York to Martin P. Touey and Mable Virginia Blanchfield. Mrs. DeSanti graduated from Northport High School in Northport, New York and was employed by Fairchild Guided Missiles Division, Wyandanch.
Helen married the love of her life, Camille Charles DeSanti (Bob), who predeceased her on November 7, 2012. The couple met at a roller-skating party and were married on June 5, 1954.
While living in Stony Brook, New York, the couple enjoyed boating and were members of the Stony Brook Yacht Club. In 1973, Bob accepted a position as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Keene Penn Metal in Parkersburg, West Virginia. During this time, Helen became an avid volunteer at Camden Clark Memorial Hospital and acquired a love for golf. In 1978, the family located to Merritt Island, Florida. Helen continued her volunteer efforts at Cape Canaveral Hospital. The couple were members of the Power Squadron and enjoyed many friendships. In 1987, Bob and Helen retired to Plantation Bay in Ormond Beach, Florida. In 2016, Helen moved to Viera, Florida to be closer to her children.
Left to cherish her memory, Helen is survived by Robin DeSanti, Debra Clarke (Thomas), and Brian DeSanti (Deborah). Grandchildren include Brenden Clarke, Brittany Miller, Brian DeSanti II, and Robert DeSanti. Helen is also survived by her sister, Margaret Graves.
