Henry was born in 1942 in Shelbyville, TN. to H.D. and Ruth Stallings. An ace newspaper carrier, football player and Eagle Scout he joined the US Army after high school. He went on to serve twenty years, traveling the world with his wife and children before retiring.
Henry, an accomplished bass fisherman co-founded the Granite State Bassmasters of N.H. and later enjoyed his involvement with the Dirty Dozen Bass Club of Massachusetts.
Upon moving to Melbourne, Florida later in life, he worked on perfecting his golf game while working and living at Mallards Landing.
More recently Henry received much gratification in his work helping veterans at the J.L. Golightley D.A.V. Himself a Bronze Star awarded veteran of the Vietnam War, his connection with fellow veterans was very meaningful to him.
He is survived by his son, Dan Stallings of Worcester, MA., daughters Susan and husband Dennis Cassidy of Hewitt, N.J., Linda and husband Tommy Luckett of Palm Bay, FL., and Rebecca and husband James Vasalofsky of Auburn, MA. Also surviving are grandsons Danny, Ryan, Connor and Ethan, great-granddaughter Laine, sister Sydna and husband Zollie Bailiff and brother Stan Stallings of Shelbyville, TN., brother Samuel and wife Billie Stallings of Florence, S.C., brother-in -law Joseph Rovezzi of Palm Bay, FL., sister-in-law Virginia Chojnicki of Worcester, MA., many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
