James was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Hunnings and Beulah Simpkins; daughter, Tammy Gilliam; brother Pat Hunnings.
James is survived by his spouse, Betty Jean Hunnings; his daughter Debra Mitchell (Mike); his grandson Albert Majaika, his grandson Toby Majaika (Megan), his grandson Jessie Majaika, his grandson Josiah Majaika, his granddaughter Melanie Martin (Aaron), his granddaughter Michele Mitchell, his granddaughter Stephanie French, his great granddaughter Mercedes Kelley (James), his great granddaughter Kaitlyn, his great grandson Gavin Fitzmorris, his great grandson Jace Gilliam, his great granddaughter Victoria Fitzmorris, his great granddaughter Ariah Fitzmorris, his great granddaughter Misha Mitchell and his great grandson Ezekiel Martin.
James also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews.
James was an avid Ham Radio operator and computer enthusiast. He could always be found behind the wheel of his Mustang, and in his earlier years, behind a drum set making music. He worked for Harris Corp. as a Computer Engineer and retired after over 30 years of hard work. James was known for his sense of humor, and his outgoing and kind spirit. He will be greatly missed by his family and close friends.
