May God give you strength, comfort & courage during this difficult time.  I will always remember our families getting together.  BBQ's, slip and slide, laughing, eating & being together.  

Hey John, my lifelong childhood friend,I will truly miss you. Words cannot express the sorrow in my heart when I heard the bad news. After a period of time, I began to recall the times we had together. You left me with so many wonderful memories of our childhood days and of our families coming together in Brooklyn, Victorville, Lancaster, Las Vegas, and West Hills that even though my memory is fading somewhat, I was able to recall and feel like I will never forget. There is and will always be a special place in my heart for you guys. Our prayers are with you always, especially now. ...Linda, John, and Michael,  God will provide courage, strength, understanding, and healing so that you can get through these difficult times ....

Thoughts and prayers to Linda and the family. This breaks my heart. I have so many fond memories with both you and John. One fond memory was all of us piling in the car and heading to the base to do some shopping when we were younger. We always enjoyed going to "The Cabarons." I can remember piling into the station wagon while my dad drove me, my mom & my siblings to the high desert to visit his childhood buddies John and Linda and their kids John & Michael.  All of them were East Coast transplants living in CA now. We would sit on their sofa (quietly?) while my mom and dad & John & Linda would hang out laughing at or with each other.  They would undoubtedly talk about Brooklyn, stick ball, and memories of their adventures together.  Their family was a part of our lives for many visits growing up.  I am sorry to hear of John's passing.  Linda, John and Michael, we are thinking you at this heartbreaking time.
