John R. London

Jack served in the Army and went to Vietnam in 1968, he received 2 Bronze Stars.

He married Pat in 1973 and had one son, John Brian London in 1979. Jack started working for S.B. Thomas’ Inc. in 1963 delivering Thomas’ English Muffins in Jersey City, he worked in the baking business for 39 years, all with the same company through several mergers and acquisitions. Jack loved Auto Racing, he and Pat would travel the U.S. and Canada following racing. He also loved horse racing and the Dallas Cowboys.

Jack was diagnosed with terminal cancer in December of 2017 and was given a short timeline. He beat all the odds; he never gave up and was determined to beat his disease. On Tuesday, February 9, 2021, Jack and Pat were heading to New Smyrna Speedway when their van was hit by a motorcycle just outside the speedway. Jack passed away at the scene, God laid him down, face up, eyes shut, and he peacefully went home, he was spared the pain and suffering as the cancer was aggressively progressing.

He is survived by his wife Pat, his son John, daughter-in-law, Guisella, three grandchildren and two brothers, Wayne London and Brett London. A life well lived.
