It is with immense sadness that we announce the passing of Johnny R. Ray, who peacefully departed this life on April 2nd, 2025 at 87 years of age. Born on May 29th, 1937 in McCool, MS. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
He is survived by his wife Louise Ray, daughter Cindy Robinson, granddaughter Melissa Turner, grandson Brandon Marrotte, and many other family members who loved him dearly. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Debra Ray.
Johnny was known for his unwavering kindness and compassion, his dedication to his family and his career, his brotherhood amongst his church, and his relationship with God. He found joy in fishing, lobstering during many trips to the keys, gardening, along with traveling with his wife.
A celebration of Johnny's life will be held on May 3rd at 11am at Florida Memorial Gardens.
