

Larry Curvin was born on September 20,1945 to Samuel and Maggie Curvin in Anniston, Alabama. After graduating from Alexandria High School in 1963, Larry decided to move to Cocoa, Florida and soon after he arrived he started Atlantic Air Conditioning. He continued his career in the HVAC industry for more than 50 years as President of Atlantic Heating and Air Conditioning located in Cocoa, Florida.
In early 1970, Larry met Joyce Speigner, and they wed on November 23,1970. Larry and Joyce spent many years traveling all over the world. Visiting places like Hawaii, London, Spain, Alaska, Russia, Mexico and all over the Caribbean Islands. Larry loved bringing joy to children during the holidays. He volunteered his time for many years driving them to church at The Brevard Gathering and dressing as Santa with his lead elf (Angie) by his side, visiting special needs children during Christmas Holidays. Larry's favorite time was spent with his friends and family on the golf course as often as possible. He was an amazing golfer and was a longtime member of Rockledge Country Club. Larry's sense of humor was equal to none. He was always ready with a joke every time you spoke to him.
Larry was predeceased by parents, Samuel and Maggie Curvin. His brother Melvin Curvin, Harvey Curvin, his sister Delores Russell, his Daughter Sonia Speigner Cabaniss, and his Grandson Justin Speigner.
Larry, the most loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother is survived by his Wife Joyce Curvin; His Brothers and Sisters, Lamar Curvin, Sammy Curvin, Frances Sharpton, Bernice Ayers, Julia Heathcock, Thara Gentry, Vicki Morgan; His Sons and Daughter In Laws; Dennis and Laura Speigner, Michael Speigner, and James and Michelle Curvin. His Grandchildren Angela Smodell, Adam and Jennipher Speigner, Sean Speigner, Jennifer Speigner, Cameron Curvin, Callie Curvin, Chloe Curvin and Courtney Curvin. Great Grandchildren Zacharii and Vyolet Star Speigner.

A gathering of family and friends for Larry will be held Tuesday, January 23, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Life Event Center At Florida Memorial, 5950 S US Highway 1, Rockledge, FL 32955, followed by a celebration of life at 12:00 PM.
