She is preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Curtis; brothers, Gene and Dennis; and sister Ada. She is survived by daughters, Teresa (Chris), Deborah, Jeannie (Hugh); son Curtis Jr.; grandson, Alan (Ceren) and granddaughters, Stephanie and Jessica; brother, Jim (Myrna) and sister, Judy (Gerry), as well as beloved sister in laws, Francis and Mona Lee, and a number of beloved nieces and nephews and other relatives.
Lois and Curt moved to Florida in 1960 and rapidly became part of the Eau Gallie community. Lois was very active in her church, and enjoyed being a mother and homemaker. She was a daily reader of the Bible – able to quote any verse that might be of comfort to you. She also played the piano (family favorite “Winter Wonderland” and ‘How Great Thou Art”) and participated in Eau Gallie First Baptist’s Senior “Band”, where she proudly “tooted the tooter”.
She was a kind, warm, humble woman who appreciated life and all that it brought to her. She led her family through many crises, staying strong and faithful. She made friends wherever she went, always making them laugh, and had the respect of many.
Please join our family in praising her promotion to the Lord with a Visitation on Sunday, October 23, 2016 at 1:00 pm 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at the Life Event Center at Florida Memorial, 5950 South US Highway, Rockledge, FL.
