She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Kay Yares (Kevin), her son, Kenny Hines (Kathy), three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Bill/Herb, her parents Clara and Oren, and her sister Faye Rector.
Loraine was born in Oakland, KY, and traveled to North Carolina, Florida and California with her husband who was in the Marine Corps and Air Force. They returned to Melbourne Florida in 1978.
Loraine was a Christian and was previously member of Melbourne Assembly of God and last attended New Covenant Fellowship (now Church on the Rock). She was as a very loving, selfless, and supportive wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend.
Friends and family will be welcomed for a 2:00pm service on Saturday February 18, 2023 at the Life Event Center at Florida Memorial, 5950 US-1 Rockledge, Florida.
Donations in Loraine’s name may be made to the Brevard Alzheimer’s Foundation, the American Cancer Society or your favorite charity.
