Lucille was born October 18, 1926 in Marion, VA to parents Festus Layne and Della Earls.
Lucille was a long time member of Highland Avenue Fellowship church in Melbourne, FL (formerly St. Paul's Methodist) and was highly active in the church thrift shop there. She will be missed dearly by her surviving family members, and remembered for her friendly and caring spirit. She'll be celebrated for her kindness and her ability to make friends with anyone, her great sense of style as well as her master-level understanding of horticulture.
Lucille will be laid to rest privately at Florida Memorial Gardens, 5950 South US Highway 1, Rockledge, FL 32955. In lieu of flowers, donations in Lucille's name may be made to Highland Avenue Fellowship, Vitas Hospice, or to a charity of your choice.
