Longtime Rockledge resident, Patricia A. Spencer, 88, passed away July 14, 2017 joining her beloved husband, Robert L. Spencer. Pat is survived by 6 children: sons Robert (Diane), David (Teri), Mike (Betty), Paul (Wendy) and daughters, Lisa (David) Bates and Lori (Don) Gust; eleven grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
Pat was born in Oklahoma March 2, 1929. She met the love of her life, Bob, in Ft. Pierce, Florida where they were married. She moved to Brevard County with her husband and family in 1957. She began working as a bookkeeper in the family business that she and Bob started in 1973. She continued as a bookkeeper at the Dance Zone until her retirement.
Pat loved the New York Yankees, fashion and keeping up with friends and family on Facebook. But, mostly, she loved her family and continued to reinforce the importance of family until her passing.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, July 29 at 11:00 a.m. at First United Methodist Church of Cocoa. In Lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to the First United Methodist Church of Cocoa.
