

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Nettie “Jean” Jesmer; brothers Arthur Jesmer of Lacrosse, WI, James Jesmer of Fruitland Park, FL, David Jesmer of Vero Beach, FL, and Ronald Jesmer of Palm Bay, FL; children Paula Jesmer of Sheboygan, WI, and Floyd Jesmer of Antigo, WI; step-children Bobbi Cao and Francine (Tina) Sharp of Antigo, WI; step-children Dennis & Deborah Cole of Grapevine, TX, Dean & Brenda Cole of Saint Cloud, FL, and Sandra & Gary Kessler of Tallahassee, FL; 17 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren. He is preceded indeath by his brother Knox Jesmer.
Mr. Jesmer served an exemplary career in the US Air Force from 1958 until 1977, achieving the rank of Technical Sergeant. Decorations and awards included Good Conduct Medal, Longevity Service Award, National Defense Service Medal, Commendation Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, and Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal. As a Military Training Instructor, his units received consistently high ratings and of his personal conduct the official records states: “SSgt Jesmer is a highly motivated, reliable NCO who can be counted upon to do a good job with little or no supervision, He is loyal, cooperative, and possesses a sincere attitude.” “This NCO is highly motivated and aggressive with a strong desire to improve himself in every possible way. His devotion to duty is unswerving. He accomplishes all tasks without resitations(sic), confusion or delay.”
Mr. Jesmer was a member of First Baptist Church Eau Gallie, FL from 1982 where he served faithfully as a Deacon and Sunday School Teacher.
A viewing and funeral service will be held on December 27, ten and eleven o’clock am, at First Baptist Church, Eau Gallie, FL.
He was loved by his family, respected by his friends, and will be greatly missed by all.
