

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Peter S. Montague, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and a dedicated servant to his country, who passed away on December, 27, 2024 age of 82.
Pete was born on November 20, 1942 in Huntington, West Virginia. He was a loving husband to his wife, Yesun (Cindy), with whom he shared 48 years of marriage filled with love, laughter and cherished memories. As a father to Corie, Kevin and Peter, he demonstrated unwavering strength, compassion, and support. He was also a proud grandfather to Abbey, Gabriel, Madeline, Gavin, Brandon and Slater.
He served in the United States Air Force for 21 years, rising to the rank of Master Sergeant. His military career was marked by his exceptional dedication, discipline, and commitment to serving his country. His colleagues and superiors alike respected him not only for his mechanical skills but for his integrity and loyalty. His service left an indelible mark on everyone who had the privilege of working alongside him.
After his honorable discharge from the Air Force, Pete found fulfillment in working for Northrup Grumman and his family and friends knew him as a man whose loyalty and devotion knew no bounds.
Pete had a love for classic muscle cars, dogs and photography. His warm presence will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Whether through his laughter, his advice, or simply his quiet, steadfast support, he made a profound impact on the lives of those around him.
He is preceded in death by his father Walter Montague, his mother Virginia Montague and his brother Rodney Montague. He is survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, sister and family and friends who will forever carry his memory in their hearts.
A committal service will be held on February 8, 2025 at 11:00AM, Florida Memorial Gardens, Rockledge, Florida, where family and friends can come together to celebrate the life of this remarkable man.
Pete leaves behind a legacy of love, sacrifice and dedication. He will be deeply missed, but his spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him.
Rest in peace, Pete. Thank you for your service, your love, and the beautiful life you shared with us all.
