Phillip Whitaker passed away Saturday November 23, 2019. He was born in Paoli, Oklahoma on May 23, 1926. A proud retired USAF Veteran, loving husband and father, Phil arrived to Patrick AFB in 1966 and upon retiring from the military decided he and his family would permanently make Brevard county their home. He went on to manage Parts City until his final retirement in 1988.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Margie Whitaker. He is survived by his sons, Phillip Jr. (Sherri), Matthew (Jane), James (Rhonda). Five grandchildren, Manessa, Marissa, Evan (Joie), RaeAnna (Justin) & Ashlen. Four great-grandchildren, Jonathan, Christian, Hunter & Emoree, as well as a sister, Freda (Bud)
Calling hours will be held on Friday, November 29, 2019 from 10-11 a.m. followed by funeral service at
Life Event Center at Florida Memorial, 5950 South U.S. Hwy 1 Rockledge, FL.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to The Shriners.
