Richard Lewis Shaw, 92, a retired Machinist, passed away on Wednesday, October 16, 2013. He was born in Georgetown, Ohio and came to Brevard County in 1965 from Gainesville, FL. Richard was a member of Masonic Lodge #318 for 40 years, a veteran of the U.S. Army, and served in WWII.
Richard is survived by his daughters, Peggy Cucchiara and Mary (Richard) Johnson; three grandchildren, Anthony Cucchiara, Lisa Cservk, and Leah Fregolle; three great-grandchildren, Shannon Elizabeth Cservk, Paris Lyn Fregolle, and Asia Elizabeth Fregolle; sister, Lorena Prickett; and brothers, Russell Shaw and Jim Shaw. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 67 years, Berdina Shaw.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, October 20, 2013 from 12-1pm at the Life Event Center at Florida Memorial, with the funeral service following at 1:00. Entombment will take place at Florida Memorial Gardens. Flowers are welcome, or feel free to make a donation to the charity of your choice in memory of Richard Lewis Shaw.
