

Richard was born in Dayton, Ohio. Shortly after high school he joined the military as a USAF serviceman specializing in air transportation. He traveled the world with his family and touched many lives with his larger than life personality. His journeys included Panama; Scott AFB, IL; Okinawa, Japan; and Tampa, FL; in addition to tours in Korea, Guam, the Philippines and Kuwait. He would then retire at Patrick Air Force Base in 2001. After retirement he decided to make Melbourne, Florida his forever home and continued to work at the Patrick AFB terminal.
Richard is survived by; daughter Barbara Frogge (husband Lucas Frogge); daughter Christine Warner (fiance Ryan Tripp); and son Richie Warner (girlfriend Tara Matern); grandsons Landon Frogge and Kaleb Frogge, mother of his children Nubia Warner; friend Susan McCain and furry children Sinbad and Summer, his Jack Russell terriers. Richard was preceded in death by; parents Donald Warner and Barbara Warner; and sister Pamela Warner.
He was a unique and witty man, with a personality as big as his stature. The kind of guy you’d never forget once you met him.
Funeral services for Richard will be held Thursday, February 22, 2018 at 1:00 PM at the Life Event Center at Florida Memorial, 5950 South US Hwy 1, Rockledge, Florida 32955.
A celebration of life for Richard will be held following the funeral service at 4:00 PM at the American Legion Post 163 Event Hall at 1795 N Harbor City Blvd, Melbourne, FL 32935.
