

Robert Charles Baldwin passed away March 24 2025 at the age of 77 doing something he loved, playing golf with his friends at Baytree National Golf Links. Robert will be lovingly missed by his wife Judy and his brother Kenneth. A dear and loving father to Cynthia Baldwin, Michael Miller, Daniel Miller, and Stacy Wieand. Beloved Grandfather to Madeline, Matthew, Emily, Chris, Tyler, Molle, Joshua, Jonathan, Rosie, and Kronos. He also had three Great Grandchildren, Warren, Wallace, and Wesley.
He was born on June 25 1947 in Islip New York to Robert and Madeline Baldwin. He graduated from Islip High School in 1965. He was also a member of the national guard on Long Island. He attended Stoney Brook University where he earned a degree in 1971 in General Studies with a concentration in Social Sciences. His career began right after college as a management consultant - project manager for Brooks International Corp in Westwood NY. In 1973 he founded Robert C Baldwin Associates, a private consulting firm servicing clients like Citibank, Bankers Trust, and the National Bank of North America. In 1979 he joined Citibank as Vice President and Managing Director managing projects in London, Kuwait, and Caracas. In 1988 he left Citibank and joined Merrill Lynch as Vice President and Group Manager where he managed a large division and serviced over 300 corporate clients. In 1992 he started The Baldwin Group, a new consulting firm with serviced clients like Citibank, Barclays, Banker Trust, Clearstream Intl, First Union, JPMorgan, and Mellon Financial Services. Traveling internationally between London, Mexico, Luxembourg, and all over the United.
In his private time he was an avid sailor, polo player, horse breeder, and golfer. He was also a co-founder of BMCF which was a charitable organization which provided for the care of hundreds of children in Uganda who lost a parent to the AIDS epedemic there. BMCF provided medical, nutritional, and educational services.
During the week he lived in Manhattan Upper East Side and spent his weekends at his house in Millerton NY before buying his own Polo Farm in Clinton Corners NY. He retired in 2000 and eventually moved to Suntree in 2007 with his wife Judy. While living in Florida he become deeply involved with Christ Episcopal Church and was a senior warden, a member of the vestry, lay reader, and even obtained a license of ministry. He also enjoyed his two boats, the Argo Navis and Sweet Retreat and sailing the Intercoastal waterway.
A viewing will take place at Florida Memorial Gardens ( 5950 US-1, Rockledge, FL 32955 ) on April 1 2025 between 10am and 12pm. Services will be held at Christ Episcopal Church ( 190 Interlachen Rd, Melbourne, FL 32940 ) at 2pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to www.ason.org which would be appreciated.
