I still have the letter Mr. Blubaugh sent to me on Cocoa High School stationery, congratulating me in 1973 for being picked to go to the state science fair. It made a huge impression on this 14-year-old freshman, and taught me the value of praise and encouragement, especially when it comes from a person of authority and respect. I didn’t win any awards at the science fair, but I’ll always treasure his letter.

My deepest sympathy to the family of this revered man who was outstanding and deeply passionate about what he provided in every aspect of his life. My parents, Dr. Susie Ferguson and Bishop Clarence Ferguson admired him very much and my mother taught at the school with Mrs. Blubaugh. Know that my family will continue to keep your family in our prayers. John11:25-26🙏🏽

My husband  Bruce knew the family growing up in Cocoa.  I met Mr Blubaugh from my family's business  
Baroni Tall and Big Men's wear.  He was a customer back in the day.  We would even deliver the merchandise to the house.  Our condolences to the family on his passing.  Our prayers are with the family.

Dad and I thoughts and prayers are with Joanne and family. Our family shared a wonderful friendship thru the past years with our West Virginia friends. Bob was a great man.  Our love to the family. 
RIP Robert Blubaugh we will meet again. 

I  that Mr. Blubaugh might have been my principal at Clearlake (1960-1963) or Cocoa High (1963-66). He was a really good man, who lived in Pineridge subdivision, as we did.  The death of his son was such a terrible tragedy. I think of it even today. 

I send my deepest sympathy to Mr. Blubaugh’s wife and children.  We need more educators like him. The world has lost a good man.

Rest in peace, Robert. Praying for your soul. In my eyes, you were a gentleman of great character. All of us who went to, or would soon go to Cocoa High School, knew of your family's sorrow of the loss of your beloved son, Bobby. In your death you can be together again. Like countless others, I respected & admired Bob Bluebaugh as role model since I was a young boy. He truly had the heart of a servant. He worked hard and made many sacrifices to improve his community and the next generation.  Thoughts and prayers are with Jo and his family in sympathy. 

My love to the family. I worked for Mr Blubaugh in the front office at Cocoa High School. He was always so kind to me.
Then after I graduated from high school  I worked for Mrs. Blubaugh at Pineda Elementary. 
I love you both and there are not enough words to express how much you both have meant to the Brevard County area.

I came to Brevard County in 1971 after graduating college.  Bob Blubaugh was one of the educational leaders of our district having served in many capacities.  In 1976 I was named Brevard a Teacher of the Year.  Bob was the Superintendent at the time and I know he had a great say on who was selected.  He was a great man and will always be fondly remembered.

I was Mr. Blubaugh's barber for the last twenty years.He was such a nice man and had such a loving close family,may God be with his family at this time and give them peace and comfort.He will be fondly remembered by many.

He was a great man my first next door neighbor. he would play football with us in the yard he called his team the Bob Griese Greasers. John and I would spend half the game just trying to tackle him. God Bless him and his family.

He was  my driver's Ed teacher at the old Melbourne High School. At that time we could drive on regular roads. He taught me not to be afraid of parking on a  hill.  An incline near a boat yard on the Eau Gallie Causeway near So. PatrickDr.  was our practice spot. I also had him as a classroom teacher and  a principal.  He was a kind and empathic person.

Mr. Blubaugh will forever hold a special place in our hearts. He was kind and supportive in every way.  We, like so many others, owe him a debt we cannot repay.
