Robert was a member of the United States Air Force during the Korean War and was a Staff Sargent as an airplane mechanic. Robert was a very proud veteran and member of the Air Force. Robert became disabled at the age of 34 after a cerebral aneurysm left him paralyzed, no memory, and expressive aphasia. He fought with the help of his wife and children to overcome these obstacles and began walking, even driving a car and doing things for himself. He was an amazing human being and anybody that knew him, loved him. Everyone that knew him will forever miss his infectious smile and happy personality. He was very proud and adored all of his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was a very special person to all he knew and loved him.
The ceremony will be held at the National Cemetery in Cape Canaveral, FL with full veteran honors where he and his wife will be joined together for their final resting place. The date and time of the ceremony have not been determined at this time. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Disabled Veterans.
