Robert L. Small

Bob was born on September 2, 1929 and spent his early years in the Carolinas where he graduated from Concord High School in 1948 and Clemson University in 1953.

He then joined the US Army Quartermaster, and was stationed at Fort Gordon, GA. Then came a tour in Japan for 3 1/2 years.

Returning to Concord, he married the former Mary Louise Fisher and together they began a beautiful fulfilling life together for 57 years. Their first place to live was Natick, MA where their beautiful daughter was born. Before their next tour in Germany, Mary returned to Concord to have their good looking son. They lived many places, including years in Korea and Vietnam for Bob. After 20 years, they decided to retire to Florida, moved into Indian Harbour Beach and began their 2nd career as realtors. Bob and Mary owned Surf Realty of Brevard in 1978 and enjoyed another 20 years before fully retiring.

Bob is survived by his wife, Mary; daughter, Beth Pollio (Michael); son, Bob Jr. (Mary-Anne); step-grandchildren, Amanda Allen (John), Jason Gerula, Melissa Vincent (Trae) and great-granddaughter, Kaycee Vincent.

A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at 5:00pm at the United Methodist Church of Satellite Beach, FL; where they have been members for 40 years.
