Ron is survived by his wife of 63 years Lou Ann Stapleton, son John Stapleton, daughter-in-law Kathryn Stapleton, granddaughter Sarah Stapleton, and sisters Nina Dowdy, Janice LeMaster, and Alyce Thompson.
Ron was born in Grahn, Kentucky and moved to Florida in 1962. He retired from both Rockwell International and Lockheed having worked at the Kennedy Space Center for over 30 years. Ron proudly served in the United States Navy as a submariner from 1954 to 1957.
A strong Christian, Ron was a living testament. He was a friend to everyone he met and served others selflessly.
Friends and family will be received at Florida Memorial Gardens in Rockledge on Monday, November 6, 2023, at 2:00PM. A Celebration of Life service will begin at 2:30PM with internment to follow immediately after.
