Happy birthday Rose! It is so sad that u r not here so we can celebrate the day u were boen with you. Although you are in a better place we still wish u were here with us. Jerry is an amazing father. Josh absolutely adorea him. Josh takes after me though because we spend so much time together. We do so many arts and crafts together. We even make jewelry together. He loves it. He still does his boy things and is very active. He is a very happy and loved little boy. And i know how much u loved him and for that i will always be grateful. Oh and you should see how big and beautiful Bree has gotten. She is as tall as me. Tyler is so handsome and is now taller than me. Bree will be 13 this year and Tyler will be 14. They want Bree to skip a grade in school. She is nervous but she is just so incredibly smart. This june will be 6 years that Jerry and i have been together and 6 years that i have been apart of this wonderful family. I hope i lived up to u calling me the daughter u never had. I love you rose and i miss u. I send u many birthday wishes and prayers and i will visit u tomorrow.

Dearest Rose, 
I miss you. Your passing came as a surprise, and caught us unprepared. Though I said my goodbyes to you at your memorial, it wasn't the same. I didn't get to see you before you went home, I didn't speak to you one last time to tell you how I felt. Though I know you have always known that I love you, I didn't get to say it to you again, and for that I am sorry. I wish I would have come around to see you more. 
At times I find myself telling stories about you from the past or remembering some of the yummy foods you would make, and those memories make me smile. I even tried to make a chocolate pie, but couldn't quite get it to have your pies' consistency. 
You were a wonderful mother-in-law and a loving grandmother, Rose. From the time I was 16 years old you were like a second mother to me. The love that you had for me, the kids, and my family was always evident. You went above and beyond, from doing our laundry for almost a year when we didn't have a washer and dryer, driving me and the kids around all the time so we wouldn't be home alone all day, to always making sure we had anything we needed. You didn't resent me when I remarried, and were always kind and loving to Jeremy, and I love you for that. It never went unnoticed or unappreciated. 
Please continue to watch over all of us, Rose. Please keep a watchful eye for my precious babies, Brandon and Victoria, help guide them on the right paths and keep them safe, as much as I hate to admit it, they are both adults now and need your loving, watchful eye now more than ever. Brandon is so handsome, smart, and has a beautiful heart, he always loved you so much. He seemed a little lost for a while after you left, but I feel like he is finally finding his way. The two of you had such a close bond, and I know he misses you. Victoria loves and misses you too, her and I often share memories of you that make us smile. She is growing into such an amazing young woman.
My parents love you too, Rose. They have always cared so much about you. I hope that you have bumped into my Nanny up there, and that she greeted you with a big hug. Please give Nanny, Nicholas, and Aunt Diane hugs and kisses from us.

        I am so sad i didn't make it to see you today. I thought we were going then Jerry jr. told big Jerry we weren't going today and Jerry jr was headed to the store and last minute decided to go but didn't come back for me and Josh. I was very upset and gave him a hard time which i feel guilty for because i know it was a rough day for him because he misses u so much and he hurts. I was just incredibly disappointed. U know me, if im upset about something i can't leave it alone which in this case i should have. He seems a little lost right now. Maybe u could check in on him and give him some guidance. Although as i said before u would be so proud of him and all that he's accomplished. But losing a loved one especially your mother is very hard. I will visit u tomorrow. I miss u and love u . Oh and i checked in on Pam today. I know u would've wanted someone to and i wanted to. Oh rose she is terribly missing you as well. She is still very much mourning and grieving you and us in so much pain. Maybe u could give her a little spiritual guidance as well. I'll be praying for u and for pam and my Jerry. U leaving us has left such a devastating impact on those u love ,i just pray they get the guidance they need to find some peace in their grieving. I'll see u tomorrow. Josh and i love you.

     Well, it was a year ago today since you've been gone. I can't say it gets any easier, but u learn to adjust. That's what my dad told me when both of my brothers died. We miss u terribly and wish u were still here. Josh still asks about you and remembers you, as he always will. It has been a long year, but has gone by so fast. You would be proud of little Jerry, he still works hard at the same job for the past 2 years and is already on his way to his 3rd promotion. I am sure you are watching over him with pride. Just wish u were around to see it. We'll be by to visit you tomorrow. I cry everytime we go. But we need to visit u for u and for us
 I will write more later, I need to try to get some sleep.

   I'ts been a year now. Hard to believe, it's gone by so fast? Everything was the first without you and it wasn't the without you. You are missed much. I know you are watching over us. I would love for you to see Brandon,Victoria, and josh get older. The little things that make them each wonderful. We will be up to see you tomorrow i can't wait. Dear Sister Rose, I read all the beautiful messages sent by your husband and children. It did not heart good to read all the beautiful words. I attended Mass on Christmas day along with Jim. I wore the dress I wore for your Funeral Mass and the necklace and earrings shaped in Turtles. It was the special gift given to you by Michelle. Jerry gave it to me when you passed away because he knew you loved it so much. I truly cherish it and will forever. I think of you everyday and the special love we have for each other. You will remain in my heart always.

I am glad that Jerry Sr., Jerry Jr. and Melissa are keeping fresh your memory for Josh. I know how much you loved him and he loved his grandma. It does my heart good to know you are in their thoughts always. You will always be in my heart and mind. The other day he told me he missed you. A few minutes ago Josh asked Jerry Jr where u were. To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

 Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
 Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
 That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
 God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

 It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.

 God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not  be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

I am so used to calling you everyday that I sometimes catch myself reaching for the phone to call you. Dear Jerry & kids, it was with great sorrow we read of Roses' passing. Our heartfelt prayers and sympathetic thoughts are with you all during and after this very sad time. I will always fondly remember Rose from our childhood growing up in Washington, D.C. and subsequently in Suitland, MD. She always made me laugh. My heartfelt sympathy and prayers go out to her entire family. Rose, may you rest in peace in God's loving care.

Rose, you are in Heaven now. Heaven is a better place with you in it. You were always very dear to me and will be always. You were a wonderful mother and a devoted wife. There will never be a day in my life that you will not pass through my mind. You were a good sister and a good daughter. I know that when I come to see you laid to rest, you will know that I am there. Nothing in this world could keep me away. This world has lost a wonderful and truly good, good person.
