He was born in Oak Hill, West Virginia moving from Charleston, West Virginia to Brevard County in 1967. He worked for Florida Power and Light for 43 years as well as served in the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his wife, Gloria of 50 years; his children, Gary and Randy (Victoria); sister Sally Johnson; many nieces and nephews; 5 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Samuel loved his family, working at the church and visiting the homebound. He loved people young and old.
Visitation services will be held at the Clearlake Baptist Church, 1640 Minnie Street, Cocoa, FL. on Friday, July 31, 2015 at 10:00am to 11:00am with a funeral to follow at 11:00am, with burial at Florida Memorial Gardens, 5950 South US Highway 1, Rockledge, FL.
