

Born in Lisle, Illinois, Sidney served with honor in the US Naval Reserves for 8 years before establishing himself as a skilled tool & die maker. He co-owned and operated Woodland Mold & Tool Company, EMC Plastics, and MXL Industries, leaving a lasting impact in the industry.
Retiring to Florida, Sidney dedicated 20 years to the recycling department at Disney World, showcasing his strong work ethic. Beyond his professional life, Sidney found joy in tending to his home and garden, displaying a deep love for animals, especially his cherished dogs. A devoted sports enthusiast, he rarely missed a Chicago Cubs, Bears, or Black Hawks game, indulging in one of his favorite pastimes.
Sidney is preceded in death by his wife of 68 years, Betty Marie Carrie, as well as his parents, William & Edith Carrie, and his brothers Alfred, Bill, & George.
He is survived by his four daughters Catherine Igo (Richard), Jeannie Carrie, Judy Walker (Brian), & Peggy Englar (John); his grandchildren Rebecca Brantley (Ryan), Katie Smith (Brian), Brandon Walker, Malissa Caldwell (Andrew), Trace Winder & Cody Igo; his great grandchildren, Sydney Lemmer, Dakota Smith, Jarrett Rudolph, Landon Rudolph, Aiden Brantley, Hailey Gregarczyk, Ryelyn Brantley, Kinsley Brantley, Grayson Smith, & Jeremy Caldwell.
May he rest in eternal peace, leaving behind a legacy of love, dedication, and a life well-lived.
