

Tressa was born in Pearisburg, VA on May 29, 1920, and came to Brevard County in 1956 from Mishawalka, IN. Tressa retired as a secretary from Pan American World Airways.
Tressa was a faithful loving wife, mother and grandmother. She held her family together after the death of her first husband, Bill Farmer Sr., and worked hard to make sure she provided for them as they grew up. After marrying W. James Brown in 1975, she not only inherited a large loving family, but gave herself to loving and caring for them just as she had always done for her own.
Tressa and Jim enjoyed traveling, first across the U.S. in their travel trailer, and later all over the world on cruises and flights.
She was a active in the First Christian Church of Cocoa Beach, the PAN AM Retirement Club and played bridge regularly up until a few months ago.
Tressa is survived by her daughters, Sandy Keane (Dan, deceased), and Karen Reynolds (Frank); sons, Bill Farmer (Kay) and Randy Farmer (Georgene); sister Freda Smith (Bill, deceased). From the Brown family, Carol Gentry (Dan), Jimmy Brown (Kay) Barbara McFall (Walter), Carlton Brown (Aggie) and Denise Kridle (Bruce). Tressa also leaves behind 28 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her mother Corrie Peters; first husband, Bill Farmer, Sr.; daughter, Diane Farmer Marconi; son, Kenneth Farmer; sister, Louise Peters Sudduth; brothers Raymond Peters and Alford Peters.
