

Willis L Kirk, passed away quietly on Wednesday, April 29, 2015. He was born in Lee County Virginia on September 9, 1928 to Claude R Kirk and Lennie Flanery. He grew up in the Smokey Mountains of Virginia and graduated from high school in 1948 from Pennington High School.
He joined the Air Force Reserve August of 1950 where he attended the US Air Force technical school stationed at Shaw Air Force Base during the Korean War. He was discharged from the air Force as an airman first class in May of 1952. Upon completion of his two years of service he moved to Dayton Ohio and began work with North American Rockwell as an electrical engineer. He retired from NASA after many dedicated years with the space program and became a real estate investor. His greatest investment and dream was the construction of his own bingo hall now known as Country Bingo.
He is survived by his son Michael D. Kirk (wife) Julienne, Daughter Cynthia K Kirk-Morgan (husband) Kenneth, Daughter Pamela F. Kirk, Daughter Sharon L Kirk, six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Immediately following the Services Family and friends will celebrate his life together at Country Bingo 4450 Dixie Hwy, Palm Bay, Fl. Services will be held at 4p.m. Monday May 4, 2015 at the Life Event Center at Florida Memorial.
