Barbara Mitchell

She received her nursing diploma from Methodist Hospital in Memphis. After moving to Rogers from Clearwater Kansas, she went to work for St. Mary’s as an RN for many years. She was also a school nurse in Clearwater. She enjoyed the outdoors, especially boating and sitting by Beaver Lake.

Barbara loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband Robert Mitchell of Rogers; daughter, Laura Mitchell of Kansas; sister, Linda Montgomery of Tennessee; and 6 grandchildren, Skyler, Braeden, Brittan, Olivia, Rachel, and Matthew.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Anne Mitchell Manley and her brother, Wayne Sigler.

Her visitation will be Saturday, June 20, 2015, from 10-12pm, with a funeral service to follow at 12pm in Rollins Funeral Home Chapel.
