She worked at Walmart for 25 years doing a variety of jobs as well as door greeter before retiring. She loved dogs, watching birds, traveling, watching TV (especially cooking, remodeling shows and the news). She enjoyed holidays because she got to spend time with her family.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Roy Matthews and daughter, Dolores Matthews.
She is survived by her son, Steven Matthews of Bentonville; and grandsons, Tim Matthews (Crystal) and Joshua Matthews; and her sweet dog, Coco.
A visitation will be on Tuesday, April 25, 2023 from 5-7pm at Rollins Funeral Home Chapel with funeral on Wednesday at 1pm at Rollins. Burial will be at Bentonville Cemetery following.
