

Born on May 12, 1954, in Thailand, Chalaem was the daughter of the late Tonkgkum Sirichoute and the late Saard Sirichoute.
Chalaem was a dedicated mother and committed wife. More importantly, she was a servant of Jesus Christ. Her life was spent meeting her family’s needs, serving her church, and spending time with family and friends.
In her leisure time she enjoyed fishing, gardening, crocheting and watching movies. She was also an avid animal lover, with a special place in her heart for cats, which she enjoyed the company of daily. She was also a prolific
giver. She loved giving gifts from Thailand to friends and strangers and always had a gift with her just in case she met someone new.
Her greatest accomplishment was the love and caring she brought into the lives of her family and friends.
In addition to her parents, Chalaem is preceded in death by her younger brother, T. Sirichoute.
Chalaem is survived by her husband, William Cawthon, her sons Daniel Cawthon and Ryan Chang and her sister Somwassana Sirichot.
The burial service will be held at 1:30 PM on April 3, 2025 at Fayetteville National Cemetery, 1000 S Lt. Col. Leroy Pond Ave. Fayetteville, AR 72701.
