Doris Jean Gibson, 98, of Rogers, Arkansas passed away on March 23, 2026 after a long and full life. She was born on December 27, 1927, in Akron, Ohio to Russell Roosevelt Hickle and Mary (Czar) Hickle.
Doris is preceded in death by many loved ones, including her husband of 57 years, Richard Gibson, and her son, Bill Gibson.
She is survived by her daughter, Kathy Gibson, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and even great-great-grandchildren.
Doris taught elementary school children for many years. She loved the outdoors. She lived her life with strong faith, amazing grace, and an unfailing love of her family.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, April 7th at 2:00 PM at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Rogers, Arkansas.
