Mr. Forrest Warren Summers

Forrest Warren Summers, age 96, of Rogers, AR , passed away on September 10, 2010 in Rogers. He was born February 28th, 1914 in Mineola, MO to the late John Warren and Annie Orvia Hays Summers. Forrest was a member of the First Baptist Church of Rogers, a 32nd Degree Mason, was a veteran of the US Army having served during WWII, he worked for Shell Oil Company as a Construction Superintendent for 43 years.

He is survived by one son John and his wife Bikky of Lemoore, CA, 1 Grandson Andrew Summers of Lemoore, CA, 2 nieces Mary Helen Malen of Highland, IL and Jane Peterson of McLean, VA. He was preceded in death by his wife Margaret Summers, his sister Pauline Scanland and 1 niece Charlene Evert.

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday September 15th at 10:00 AM at Rollins Funeral Home Chapel in Rogers. A visitation will be held on Tuesday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Rollins Funeral Home. Pastor Tommy Hinson will officiate the service.

A graveside service will be held on Friday September 17th at 10:30 AM at Montgomery City Cemetery in Montgomery City, MO. Local arrangements are under the care of Rollins Funeral Home of Rogers. Online condolence may be made at www.rollinsfuneral.com .
