

John William Kinnetz, age 46, of Garfield, died October 10, 2012, after a hard-fought battle with cancer. He was born in Storm Lake, Iowa, on November 14, 1965, to the late Benjamin Theodore Kinnetz and Beverly Irene (Langfitt) Kinnetz.
John was a veteran of the US Army and was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. He was employed for more than 17 years at Kennametal in Rogers, where he enjoyed light-hearted pranks on his co-workers. He enjoyed camping, fishing, listening to music, model cars, and riding his motorcycle and tractor. Above his hobbies, he took most joy in spending time with his family. He will be remembered for his caring heart and friendship.
Survivors include his wife, Dana Kinnetz; children, Harold Campbell of the home, Tiffanie Jennings of Lowell, Dannelle Creech and Preston Campbell of the home; a beloved aunt, Darlene Swanson; siblings, Angie Husske (Joe) of Bentonville, Benjamin Kinnetz of Goldfield, Iowa, Tressa Landolt of Pocahontas, Iowa, Lars Kinnetz of Goldfield, Iowa, Rosanna Swart of Spencer, Iowa, and Erick Broderson of Goshen, Arkansas; and one granddaughter, Mia Zapien.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 13, 2012, at Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers, officiated by Pastor Aaron Holt.
