Julia Ann Fiore

Julia was a construction superintendent for Emery Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia before being recruited to Northwest Arkansas by Walmart, where she commissioned over 500 stores around the country.

It was an adjustment for Julia to move to Arkansas, but she quickly fell in love with this area. It didn’t take long for her to become an active member of the community and she enjoyed volunteering whenever she could. One of her favorite volunteer “jobs” was to teach art to children at Crystal Bridges Museum.

Julia loved music and always had it playing no matter what she was doing. She was a Certified Master Gardener, loved Razorback football and playing golf. Julia would organize and play in many golf tournaments over the years.

She was passionate about life and especially animals. In fact, she was an “animal whisperer” and could train just about any creature she spent time with, including horses and cats. However, she was most passionate about dogs. She was a licensed AKC breeder and trainer. To her credit, as a breeder, had specifically Aussies, bred 22 titled dogs, 19 of which were champions. Julia would routinely handle up to 18 dogs and was a regular contestant at the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Shows.

She was preceded in death by her father, James; aunts, Jewell Robison, Stella Robison, and Ruth Edwards; and uncle, Luther Edwards.

Julia is survived by her husband, John Fiore of Garfield; mother, Jane Robison; brothers, James E. Robison (Jan) and Jeffrey R. Robison (Cindy); aunts, Jane Graham and Rosemary Sellner; nephews, James, Justin, and Joshua Robison; niece, Jessica Robison; cousins, Chuck Sellner, Robert Robison (Bobbie), James Graham, and Jeffrey Graham.
