Mae Thomas

Mae was born May 1, 1912 in Union Parish, LA to the late Allen Jeter and Era Ann (Fuller) Holloway.

Mae was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband of 59 years, Jewel “JD” Thomas; and one daughter, Arva Dean Goodwin.

Survivors include one son, Jerry Thomas of Hiwasse; one daughter, Shirley Brick and her husband Don of Rogers; one son-in-law, Bob Goodwin of Rogers; one sister, Mattie Lue McKeever of Rowlett, TX; nine grandchildren, Randy Goodwin of Rogers, Gary Goodwin of Rogers, Lisa Mills of Rogers, Linda McClelland and husband Mark of Little Rock, Judy Brick-Arney and husband Ron of Rogers, Cindy Moser of Rogers, Bill Thomas and wife Heather of Bentonville, Chris Thomas of Fayetteville, and Tim Lazar of Hiwasse; 17 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services for Mae will be 2pm Thursday, June 2, 2011 at Rollins Funeral Home Chapel with a visitation directly preceding the service at 1pm. Burial will be at Benton County Memorial Park Cemetery in Rogers immediately following the services.

Donations can be made to Circle of Life Hospice House in Springdale, First Baptist Church of Rogers, or Innisfree Nursing Center in Rogers.
