Marvin Otis Garner

Marvin was born August 10, 1922 in East Tallassee, AL to the late Otis W. and Odessa (Coleman) Garner.

Marvin was a career military man, serving over 30 years with the USAF.

Survivors include his loving wife of 60 years, Aiga (Pfeiffer) Garner, of the home; one son, Detlev Garner of Rogers; two daughters, Ingrid Tyre and her husband Allen of Ozark, AL and Dagmar Carlon and her husband Gene of Colorado Springs, CO; two brothers, Harold Garner of Petersburg, VA and Doyle Garner of Montgomery, AL; one sister, Frances Bush of Wetumpka, AL; 5 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 30, 2011, at National Cemetery in Fayetteville.
