Phillip David “David” Edwards, 60, of Colcord, OK passed away Thursday, November 12. He was born December 21, 1954 in Fayetteville, AR to Calvin Swift Edwards and Dixie Lee Rodgers. For many years he was an over-the-road truck driver and drove locally before his retirement. His love of driving, riding his Harley, and the outdoors was apparent to all from the stories he loved to tell. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and papa!
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, George and Geanise Watson and his father. Survivors include his mother, Dixie Smith and her husband Arthur, of Springdale, AR; his loving wife of nearly 43 years, Ruth Edwards of the home; his daughter, Jenice Bell and her husband Bradley Bell and their son Mason Neu of Rose, OK; his son, Phillip, and wife Kathy Edwards of Newport News, VA.
