Thomas Raymond Morrow Sr

Thomas Raymond Morrow Sr, 82 of Springdale passed away Wednesday, January 24, 2018. He was born January 6, 1936 in Jersey City, New Jersey the son to the late Thomas Leroy Morrow and Iva Froust Morrow. While serving his country in the US Air Force he was stationed in numerous air bases and while in Korea he was tasked with driving officers and dignitaries. Following retirement as a steelworker/welder, he held several offices in VFW Post 10097 in Ft. Myers, Florida and enjoyed gardening, playing shuffleboard and pool, and woodworking. In addition to his parents, he was preceded by his stepmother, Leola Morrow and a sister, Harriett Kent Scarpulla. Survivors include his children, Donna LaBelle of Florida, Cynthia Freitas of Springdale, Arkansas, Thomas R. Morrow Jr of New Hampshire and Shawn Morrow of Elkins, Arkansas; his former wife and dear friend Shirley Morrow of Springdale, AR; a sister, Edna Baker of Jersey City, NJ; 3 brothers, Ben Morrow of Barneget, NJ, John Morrow of Kissimee, FL and Albert Morrow Palm Beach Gardens, FL; one son-in-law Richard Freitas, 6 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. A graveside service with full military honors will be at 12:00pm, Friday, February 23 in Fayetteville National Cemetery.
