Wanda Lee Carlton

Wanda enjoyed visiting with her family and bringing them gifts from Helping Hands, where she passionately volunteered for the last 12 years. She was also a recycling enthusiast. Wanda was a wonderful mother and grandmother and will be dearly missed.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Otis Smithson and second husband, Arland Carlton; brother, Herman Hudson; son-in-law, Doug Dean; and grandson, Justin Smithson.

She is survived by her sons, James Smithson of Oklahoma and Daniel (Sandra) Smithson of Marion; daughters, Diane (Jerry) McGee of Missouri and Brenda Dean of Bentonville; brother, Bill Hudson of Harrison; 6 grandchildren, Chris Riley, Devin Riley, Morgan Dean, Caitlin Dean, Anna Amaro, and Ian Smithson; 4 great-grandchildren, Ashlyn, Brody, Kallie, and Eleanora.

Her visitation will be on Friday, April 14, 2017 from 5 until 7pm in Rollins Funeral Home Stateroom. Her funeral will be Saturday, April 15, 2017 at 2pm in the Rollins Chapel, with burial to follow at Benton County Memorial Park.
