William Laverne “Bill” Ohl, 82, of Rogers passed away May 22, 2021. He was born July 14, 1938 in Yellville to the late Walter and Julia Anne Ohl. Bill was also preceded by his loving wife, Shirley Ohl, a brother, Fred Ohl and his stepfather, Marion Gatewood. Bill enjoyed time with his family playing board games, cards and rolling around on the floor playing with his grandchildren. He was always there to help others in any way that he could. He was a long-time member of the First Baptist Church of Rogers. Survivors include his daughter, Stephanie Yeakley (Roy Jr.) of Springdale his stepdaughter, Bobbi Talarski of Rogers; 5 grandchildren, Abby King (Cory), Hannah Talarski, Isaac Talarski (Shania), Caleb Talarski and Elijah Talarski; 2 great-grandchildren, Madilynn and Jameson King; a sister, Mary Ohl of Rogers; 2 brothers, Carl Ohl of Rogers and Kenny Ohl of Lincoln; numerous extended family members and dear friends. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00pm, Thursday May 27 and his Funeral will begin at 10:00am Friday in the Chapel of Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers. Entombment will follow in Rogers Mausoleum.
