Bill served in the Army for many years, where he worked as a mechanic. He loved fishing and gardening, and he was known to all as a skilled handyman who helped everyone he could. Along with his parents and siblings, he was a member of the Church of Christ of Hiwasse.
His survivors include his wife, Lisa Habermehl; his children, Chase Waldon of Bentonville, Amber Chestnut and husband Justin of Rogers, Shane Murphy and wife Barb of Gravette; 10 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren, with a fourth on the way; and brothers, Darrel and Kevan Habermehl.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his sister, Karen Habermehl.
All are invited to visit with the family from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 12 at Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Monday at the Church of Christ of Hiwasse. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery.
